This document outlines the terms and conditions for the services provided by BIONEX ENERGY SAVINGS LTD. Below are the key terms that come into effect when a customer utilises Bionex Energy Savings switching service.
If you have any questions regarding these terms or anything else, please reach out to our Customer Services team. We are happy to assist and can be contacted on 020 7097 4829.
These terms govern the use of the services offered by Bionex Energy Savings. Please read them carefully before proceeding. By using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
BIONEX ENERGY SAVINGS LTD offers a price comparison and switching service to businesses in the UK. To be eligible for this service, you must:
We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion.
If you choose to use our services, Bionex Energy Savings will strive to identify, negotiate, and secure competitive energy prices using price books provided by suppliers. Customers are required to provide accurate information, including estimated or actual energy usage, contract end dates, and any other relevant factors affecting prices.
A quotation provided via Bionex Energy Savings is not an offer. Each quotation will have specific terms set by the supplier.
If a customer accepts a quotation and enters into a contract with a supplier, the agreement is binding and cannot be revoked. Suppliers may decline a customer's acceptance at their discretion.
Bionex Energy Savings facilitates the contract between the customer and the energy supplier. However, we are not liable for delays or failures caused by any party involved in the switching or renewal process.
Energy prices can fluctuate daily, and while we strive to secure competitive rates, we cannot guarantee that the quoted rate will be the cheapest. It is the customer’s responsibility to validate quotations and confirm the status of their switch or renewal with their supplier.
Please note that the contract is between the customer and the energy supplier. Bionex Energy Savings acts as an independent energy broker and does not represent the customer or supplier.
Bionex Energy Savings is compensated by energy suppliers through a commission included in the unit cost of your energy.
For example, if we secure a price of 16 pence per kWh and apply a 0.9p uplift, your contracted price would be 16.9p. Our commission is calculated based on this uplift, annual energy consumption, and contract term.
Our average uplift is typically under 1p per kWh. Since we are remunerated by suppliers, we can only offer prices from those on our panel, which covers over 90% of UK business energy suppliers by customer count.
For more information on our commission, please contact our Customer Services team.
If you enter into a contract facilitated by Bionex Energy Savings and later sign a duplicate contract with another supplier, resulting in the original contract failing to proceed, Bionex Energy Savings reserves the right to charge a "failed contract" fee of £750 per meter or the total value of the lost commission, whichever is higher.
It is crucial to honour contracts agreed upon through Bionex Energy Savings and avoid entering into duplicate agreements.
If you move premises during the term of a contract arranged through Bionex Energy Savings, this is considered a "Change of Tenancy" (COT). Notify Bionex Energy Savings at least 14 days before moving to avoid incurring fees.
Failure to notify us may result in a "failed contract" fee of £750 per meter or the total value of the lost commission, adjusted for the percentage of the contract fulfilled.
If a contract fails to go live due to the customer not providing requested information or documentation, or a supplier declining the contract, Bionex Energy Savings reserves the right to charge a £750 fee.
Critical information includes, but is not limited to, signed letters of authority, supplier details, meter numbers, and banking details.
If your supplier fails, and a Supplier of Last Resort (SOLR) is appointed, Bionex Energy Savings may charge a £750 fee to cover lost commissions unless you appoint us to arrange a new contract.
If you have granted us delegated authority to renew your energy contract, our Auto Renewal terms also apply.
